Our motto -  “Teaching the ART for life”

Our motto has two meanings - 1) To provide our students with a lifelong program. 2) our program provides a curriculum that encourages our students to live a stronger, more meaningful life. All techniques and moves are taught to be used only in a defensive manner and never are our students taught to use martial arts training unless it is the absolute last resort.

We accomplish this by:

Highly Personalized Classes

  • 10 to 1 Student to instructor ratio
  • Caring and well-trained staff
  • Focus on the individual student as a person as well as a student
  • Caring team approach from both instructors and students
  • Atmosphere built on a demanding but positive learning environment
  • Full range martial arts training including traditional Taekwondo, boxing and grappling

Emphasis in on the ART of TKD – learning a second language, if you will, by using skills that challenges the body to become stronger and faster, increase coordination and agility through developing muscle memory and improving hand and eye coordination. We teach realistic self defense skills that can be applied, based on research and the experience of many martial arts experts.   All students will  progress in the art of TKD, western boxing and grappling.  This provides for a well rounded, extensive, fun, and challenging curriculum.

TKD Works martial arts and sports movement is the vehicle to challenge and motivate each student to bring out the best in themselves not just in class but in life.  A critical piece of our program is developing a stronger sense of self by having the student compete with themselves, to build upon their strengths and minimize their limitations.

For our Children’s program, we work closely with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress.
